While it may be true that a photo never lies, perhaps a collection of photos can mislead a little… This selection from our August ’24 Yorkshire 3 Peaks trip (one peak each day) may give the impression that it was wall-to-wall sunshine but some careful editing has taken place!!
We did bag all three peaks – and very well done to those who came along!!! But on two of the three summits, we were encircled by mists and thoroughly shaken by a lively west wind. Great teamwork and a healthy dose of mutual support helped us overcome tricky conditions and meant that we felt all the more smug when we topped-out on all three: Ingleborough, Whernside and Penyghent on consecutive days.
