Grade
-
This is a Grade 3 'Moderate’ walking holiday with the option for a Grade 5 'Challenging' ascent of Scafell Pike.
Grade 3 ‘Moderate’ walking holidays are designed for those who are fit enough to walk for up to 5-7 hours in a day. However, our aim is to stop for plenty of breaks and to admire the views, and to generally enjoying moving at a moderate pace along our route. There may be some straightforward ascents to some of the smaller peaks, for example Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales.
Grade 5 ‘Challenging’ walking holidays are for those who are happy walking for 6-8 hours a day, with a substantial amount of ascent involved. Typical walks might visit the highest summits in the Lake District, for example Scafell Pike and Helvellyn. -
