Our venues up close: The Glaramara Hotel, Borrowdale

Nestled in the heart of the valley and surrounded by spectacular walks, the Glaramara Hotel serves as the perfect base for Skyline’s trip to Borrowdale and the North Lakes. This cosy, independent hotel offers stunning views of the fells themselves, as do many of its rooms.

As with all Skyline trips, your accommodation is included and most of your guided walks will start and end at the hotel. Accommodation is in en-suite, single occupancy rooms so you can unwind and rest up after a day in the fells.

Breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner are also included, with dinners consisting of a full 3-course meal at the Glaramara’s renowned restaurant, well-known locally for their hearty portions. Find a sample menu here.  

A few last places are available for our trip to the Glaramara this summer, starting on 29th July and ending on 2nd August.

Winter Walking

You can also give yourself something very special to look forward to in January by booking ahead for our popular winter trip to Borrowdale, which promises beautiful and crisp winter walks, or, at least, interesting weather!
