Adders, slow worms and the inevitable cream tea!
Stupendous sea views and thrilling coastal walks made last week a very special one for our Skyline Devon Coast trip. Added to this, there was the sun, reliably shining for all 5 days, bluebells, wild primroses, and a swathes of bright, white Alliums, luminous yellow gorse flowers, happy birdsong, kestrels hunting, and, to top it all, a beautiful adder on our path. Needless to say, it was more scared of us than we of it! (maybe).

The inspiring book and film of ‘The Salt Path’ are set to raise interest in this lesser-know stretch of coast, but path walkers here will be well rewarded for their efforts. The story tells of how this inspiring landscape can affect the human spirit in an almost magical way.
If you would like to join us on our next trip to the South West coast path, come along on our Cornwall Coastal guided walking holiday, September 3-7th and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!!
Full details of that trip are here.
