A huge thanks and well done!!!... to those who came along last week to dodge the showers and delight in the green peace of the Yorkshire Dales.

Our walks took us to the quaint stone cottages of Sedbergh, Ingleton and Dent, and through the grassy lanes of Crummackdale and Dentdale.

As luck would have it, a steam train ran across Ribblehead Viaduct as we passed, adding a certain historical thrill!

We are grateful to the Wheatsheaf Hotel in Ingleton who once again looked after and fed us admirably. This selection from our photos gives a flavour.
