For those who will be glad to see the back of January, it’s a cheery thought that the weather can turn so much kinder so quickly at this time of year. Spring in the Lake District is memorable for great displays of wild daffs and bluebell-filled woodland, plus a stunning display of fresh green buds, shoots and leaves (I think there is a panda joke in there somewhere).
