Holy Island and Northumberland Coast photos from last week

A big thanks to all who came along and made this a really memorable week.

Dolphins, seals, lapwings and dunlins were among the fascinating wildlife that featured in our walking holiday last week.

Walks of 12 to 16 km each day took us along the famous coast that bristles with ancient fortifications as it stretches between Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and Alnmouth.

This is an area of dazzling, white beaches, turquoise waters and (at this time of year) bright yellow banks of gorse edging the land.

A big thanks to all who came along and made this a really memorable week.
